School districts starting free summer food programs

Several school districts in Tucson and surrounding communities are offering free summer meal programs at their schools.  Many students who rely on school lunches would go hungry without these vital summer programs.  

If there is not a school close to your area serving these free meals, parents can click on the following website http://www.azsummerfood.gov/food-site-locations and put in your zip code to see what schools closest to you are serving.

Select Amphitheater Schools will be serving breakfast and lunch to students during summer school this year. 

The Amphitheater Public School District is partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide these free meals.  Any child under 18 may come and eat.
