Celebrate Mardi Gras in Tucson with St. Philips in the Hills | Community Spirit

Want to celebrate Mardi Gras, but couldn’t get to New Orleans?  Then this is the event for you, St. Philips in the Hills Parish is bringing some Mardi Gras to Tucson.

The church will be hosting a Mardi Gras themed Shrove Tuesday gumbo/jambalaya cook off tonight starting at 6:15 p.m.

There will be a cook-off and participants will vote for their top three choices.  In addition there will be Dixieland jazz music, Mardi Gras beads and King Cake. 

WHERE:  St. Philips in the Hills Parish - 4440 N Campbell Ave Tucson, AZ 85718

COST:   $7 for single person and $20 for family.

Proceeds from the cook-off will assist a youth program pilgrimage.
