Oro Valley Police describe bank-robbery suspect

The Bank of America branch in Rancho Vistoso was robbed Friday afternoon, the Oro Valley Police Department said.

The suspect entered the bank around 5 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, Lt. Kara Riley said.

No weapon seen or implied.

Teacher accused of sexual misconduct with minors sentenced

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- A former Ironwood Ridge High School teacher charged with sexual misconduct with minors was sentenced to probation.

Melissa Dalton made a plea deal and was sentenced to eight years probation.

Authorities arrested Dalton last April. She was accused of having sexual contact with three male students.

Dalton was let go from the school shortly after her arrest.
