Holiday closures for Pima County landfills | Events

The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality Solid Waste Division landfills and transfer stations will be closed for the holidays on December 24 and 25 (for Christmas), and December 31 and January 1 (for New Year’s)

These closures apply to landfills in Sahuarita and Ajo, the Tangerine Landfill and the Catalina and Ryan Field Transfer Stations. 

Also closed on those days is the Solid Waste Administrative Office, (5301 W. Ina Road).

The landfills and Administrative Office will reopen the Wednesday after each holiday. The transfer stations will be open on their normal schedule which is Thursday through Saturday.
